Synonym:


Lithology and Thickness

Comprise two units: The lower unit comprises upwards: A) Grey, well sorted sandstone with clay balls, cemented by calcareous and clayey material, B) Large lenses of conglomerate with pebbles and cobbles of limestone and chert, C) Pink sandy limestone or calcareous sandstone exposed in many areas, D) Massive grey breccia, with angular and sub-angular limestone fragments. The upper unit comprises massive splintery limestone and calcareous sandstone with beds of marl and local lenses of gypsum.
